Cookie Policy

Version 1.4 · effective from 15 September 2026.

The "Virtus WIN" service is available as a mobile app and as an app in the browser (https://app.virtus-win.com); the public website is at https://virtus-win.com. This policy explains which of these use cookies, and for what.

1. Mobile app

The mobile app does not use cookies. It stores locally on the device only:

account access data (the sign-in token) — in the protected area of the device, to keep you signed in;
app settings — language, appearance and similar choices.

This data is not shared with third parties and is deleted when you sign out or uninstall the app.

2. App in the browser

The app in the browser uses one cookie, and only after you sign in:

Name: __Host-vw_refresh
Purpose: keeping you signed in — it lets you stay signed in without re-entering your password; without it, signing in in the browser would not be possible.
Duration: at most 30 days from the last sign-in; deleted when you sign out.
Protection: the cookie is marked HttpOnly (not accessible to scripts on the page), Secure (sent only over an encrypted connection) and SameSite=Strict (not sent from other websites), and it is bound exclusively to app.virtus-win.com.

Besides the cookie, the app in the browser keeps only your chosen language in the browser's local storage (localStorage). The sign-in access token is held in the page's memory and is never written anywhere permanently.

This cookie is strictly necessary to provide the service you yourself requested (signing in), so under the applicable rules no separate consent is required for it. Neither the app in the browser nor the public website uses cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking.

3. Public website

The public website (https://virtus-win.com) does not set any cookies and does not use analytics. That is why it has no cookie banner.

4. How to manage cookies

You delete the sign-in cookie by signing out of the app in the browser or by deleting cookies for app.virtus-win.com in your browser settings. If you block it, signing in in the browser will not work; the mobile app works independently of it.

5. Language of this document

This document is drawn up in the Serbian language. Translations into other languages are provided for ease of understanding; in the event of any discrepancy between a translation and the Serbian text, the Serbian text shall prevail.
